Our commitment

Your trust matters. This policy explains what information India Rare collects when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

What we collect

Account information — name, email, phone number, password (stored hashed, never in plain text)
Order information — shipping address, billing address, items purchased, payment method (we never see your full card number — that goes directly to our payment processor)
Communication — emails, support chats, or feedback you send us
Usage data — pages visited, items viewed, basic device and browser info, IP address. We use this to make the site work and to fix problems.
Cookies — small files that keep you logged in, remember your cart, and help us understand site performance

How we use it

To fulfil your orders, ship items, and provide customer support
To send order updates, shipping notifications, and (if you opt in) occasional newsletters
To detect fraud and keep the platform secure
To improve the site — what people search for, what works, what doesn't

We share the minimum necessary data with trusted partners who help us run India Rare:

Children

India Rare is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Kids' products on the site are purchased by parents or guardians.

Data retention

We keep order records for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically 7 years). Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request, except where retention is legally required.
