Where we ship
India Rare ships from India to addresses across India and to most international destinations. If we can't ship to your country, the checkout will tell you at the address step.
Delivery timelines
- Within India — typically 3 to 7 business days after dispatch
- International — typically 7 to 21 business days after dispatch, depending on destination and customs clearance
- Heavy or fragile items (large brass statues, framed prints) — add 2 to 4 business days for protective packing
Estimates exclude order processing time, which is usually 1 to 2 business days. Festival weeks and bank holidays may extend timelines.
Shipping fees
- Domestic orders above ₹999 ship free
- Domestic orders below that threshold carry a flat fee shown at checkout
- International shipping is quoted at checkout based on weight and destination
Tracking
Every order ships with a tracking number. You'll receive an email and SMS when your order is dispatched, with a link to track it in real time. You can also track from Track Order in the footer using your order number.
Customs & duties (international)
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees levied by the destination country. These are not included in our shipping fee. We declare the actual purchase value on all parcels — we cannot undervalue parcels.
Damaged or lost in transit
Open the parcel within 48 hours of delivery. If anything is damaged or missing, take photos of the outer packaging and contents and contact us at hello@indiarare.in with your order number. We'll replace, refund, or otherwise resolve at no extra cost to you.
Online pooja & prasad
Pooja bookings are scheduled rather than shipped — you'll receive a meeting link or attendance details by email. Where a prasad parcel is included in the booking, it ships separately under the timelines above.
Address changes
If you need to change a delivery address, email us as soon as possible. We can update the address before dispatch; once a parcel is in transit, address changes depend on the courier's rules.
