Return Policy

Our promise

We want you to be delighted with every purchase from India Rare. If something arrives damaged or doesn't match the listing, we'll work with you to make it right.

Return window

Most items can be returned within 7 days of delivery. The item must be:

• Unused and in its original condition
• In the original packaging with any tags, seals, or inserts intact
• Accompanied by the original invoice or order number

Non-returnable items

By their nature, the following are not eligible for return:

• Prasad and consumables — sweets, food items, opened ayurvedic preparations
• Personalised items — engraved jewellery, custom-made statues, name-printed pieces
• Online pooja & prasad services once the ritual has been scheduled or performed
• Final-sale clearance items clearly marked on the listing

Damaged or wrong items

If your item arrives damaged, broken, or different from what was ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the item. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund — your choice, no return shipping cost on you.

How to return

1. Email hello@indiarare.in with your order number and reason for return.
2. We'll respond within 24 hours with a return authorisation and the closest pickup / drop-off instructions.
3. Pack the item securely. Original outer packaging works best.
4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll process your refund.

Refunds

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of the item being received and inspected. Shipping charges on the original order are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
